After extraordinary seminars in the past five years in Thailand, Jordan, South Africa and Botswana, New Zealand and Colombia, GC XVI will be held in Macedonia, Northern Greece and Cyprus. Our main host will be Viktor Novakovski, Deputy Head of School, NOVA International School (one of the schools that we shall visit). The Global Connections team at Hotchkiss, Manjula Salomon and Marianne Ostendorf, will be coordinating applications and registrations.
Our dates are from Saturday, June 21, when participants arrive in Macedonia and will be collected from the airport, to Monday night, June 30, with a closing gala dinner. Flights back home should be booked from Tuesday morning, July 1, onwards.
Our host school will be NOVA International School and we will be introduced to many others. Participants will have the chance to spend time in each of these schools. They are diverse in type, and getting to know each one will allow us all to develop a strong sense of schooling in Macedonia, Northern Greece and Cyprus.
We will also travel through intriguing, and beautiful lands and meet cultures that are ancient and modern. We will cross three national borders and hear languages and practices that will delight us.
The non-refundable fee for the seminar will be US Dollars 2900. This is exclusive of airfares to Macedonia. The conference fee covers all costs from arrival, except for personal items.
Expressions of interest should be sent to Marianne Ostendorf, mostendorf@hotchkiss.org, as soon as possible. Completed registration forms are due by January 15, and the absolute deadline for seminar fees is February 15. Requests for limited financial aid should also be sent to mostendorf@hotchkiss.org.

The Macedonia seminar has been thoughtfully and carefully created. It will be another memorable week of educational exploration, in thoughtful Global Connections style.
